I enjoy making cards. This year is the first year in along time that I was able to reach out to more people than I normally do.

Homemade Gift Tags

Please pardon the flash glare. I recoved some old dry cleaner tickets I had. I used scrap paper for the background in green plaid, a plain kraft colored paper for the descriptive area with stamps and a sponge to rub around the edges. Finally a decorative snowman and christmas stocking I had in my stash. Some kraft string for the tie was threaded through the exsisting holes.

I love how these tags turned out. This wrapping paper is from Hobby Lobby. I wanted to purchase something from a place like 'Current' because of recommendations. But I love how thick this paper is and that wonderful cutting grid guidelines on the backside are very helpful.

This paper has grid cut lines on the back

These little premade tags were some samples we received back in our printing business days. I never threw them out and finally put them to use. I added some pretty green and white bakers twine with these to accent the green stamped description area.

Architecture

Architecture
I was searching for kitchens that had their range or stovetops placed between windows.

source

When I look closely my first thought was 'Yes, this photo has a stove located between to windows the over sized exhaust fan reveals the stovetop placement.' This kitchen is gorgoues with the rustic feel. Exposed beams, and wood planked ceiling combined with the choice of cabinetry, provide a feeling of a craftsmans style home. The entire wall appears to be glass with the french doors for egres surrounded by windows from floor to ceiling. This island is a generous size offering work space and functional qualities which allow easy dish disposal, and an inviting eating area to enjoy a quick lunch.

Christmas 2015
I haven't accomplished much as far as applying Christmas Decor this year.
but I attended several events and parties. My Husbands employer had a wonderful party this year held at the lovely Fredrick Meijer Garden building and we walked away with this lovely centerpiece.

Close-up
These bulbs are glitter covered styrofoam balls in different shapes.

Greenery
It's so tall that I have it sitting on a stool and not on the dining room table.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
